Going along with the objectives under Help Enterprise Program, FOL encourages low-income families in rural communities, who are interested starting some small scale enterprises or income generating activities and provide assistance to start up such activities.
Donation of a Dairy Cow to an Unemplyed Single Mum
Thankshila is a single mum from a remote village in Anuradhapura District, living with her child and also takes care of her elderly parents. Thankshila did not have any source of regular income and sought assistance from FOL to obtain a dairy cow so she could earn a regular income by selling milk to the local milk collection center.

With the recommendation of our Representative, FOL donated a cow. Thankshila now has a regular source of income support, thanks to the generosity of our members who supported this worthy project.
